I simply love the ferals because they catch me by surprise and it's terrifying because I don't expect them. I left feral running and blood moon running on. I turned off zombie running just at nights. When Alpha 18 experimental dropped, I got tired of sitting out the night. I tried turning off zombie running, but I found it made the game too boring. To me, a game mechanic that incentivizes 'waiting' isn't very good. I end up just bunkering down in my base, waiting for morning. I've been playing the game for years and I've found running zombies at night to be overkill. Glad you like it, we need some fear at night. The Mountain Lions actually have a nickname: Murder Kitties as many a streamer died to them trying to fight them without a gun. Yeah I don't even touch boars without a gun, don't use a shotgun thou as like I said if you kill it, the extra pellets will hit the body lowering resources from it, but a pistol, hunting rifle, ak47, smg, etc all reccomended tools for killing boars and wolves/mountain lions etc. Now i'll get you *hits the wounded boar from afar with bow* Leave me alone! *runs from the boar, still trying to kill it* Important note to mention is each boar killed me before once. I was lucky to have a junk turret on me with ammo.Д®DIT: In current game i killed only 2 boars (seen one other, but left it alone). Just before i downed him, another 2 came along. Once started a fight at night with a zombie and it turned out to be a feral. I personally loved the mod so much that even after the Podcast Baptizer and myself kept on playing for hours.
